The night of Samhain, “when all the mounds are open,” and when anyone can go from one world to the next in a total fusion of beings from the past, present, and future, a phenomenon that is not in the least paradoxical because during this period time is abolished.
⚡️From Ireland to Scotland to America the institution of Hollow'een (Samhain) flitted like so many ghosts.
In "The Tidings of Conchubar Son of Nes" it's written that "ciall" or "the sense" will be taken from anyone left unprotected on Samhain.
Now, from America back across the Indo-European cultural zone Hallow'een as the modern manifestation of the ancient Indo-European festival of Samhain rebirths the millennia-old celebration of the beginning of the most important half of the year - winter / Samhain - the season of feasting and festivals.
