Drama. Ode to Severodonetsk. SpaceX.
⚡️ It’s two years exactly since Ruschia dropped a massive bomb on Mariupol’s Drama - no-one in Mariupol ever needed another word to describe it.
Here’s how Mariupol’s legitimate authority announced the War Crime. It’s now known that around 600 native Russian language speaking Ukrainians sheltering in the theatre were killed in the strike. I write about how in the instant that bomb vaporised the native Russian language speaking Ukrainians sheltering there it also transferred them from what Ruschia claimed was Inner Realm (Ruschia claimed its casus belli was to ‘save’ native Russian language speaking Ukrainians to Outer Realm (after the attack Ruschia said it had murdered ‘Nazis’):

Trump Crime Family Disinfolklore.net nerds will remember that Trump White House attempted to create a 5G monopoly and give it to Trump donors. If they win 2024 election and confiscate Space Karen’s assets, Trump world plans to use Space X rockets to move to Mars.
Ukraine aficionados understand more than anyone that until Space Karen began using his monopoly power on battlefield communications to campaign for Ukraine’s surrender to genocide, Space Karen was a hero in Ukraine. Now his name and reputation are dirt.
Like Ruschia everything Space Karen touches eventually turns to 💩.
⚡️Severodonetsk - my old home town. Native Russian-language speaking Ukrainians.
Ruschists killed 10,000+ there. I keep wondering about the fate of those I casually knew there. I wrote to one restaurateur I got to know well there when I saw footage of their apartment building being shelled by the Ruschists in April 2022. I never heard back. Emailed people I knew. My 🐱's surrogate family where he stayed while I lived in a hotel. Silence. Seen film of decaying bodies on streets.
That ad hoarding for a European standard DIY improvement place - That's the standard Severo was aspiring to. When you were looking to rent a flat there if the ad said ‘European Standard,’ you knew the owners had renovated it from its Soviet-era simplicity. Native Russian language speaking Ukrainians living in Severo (as we knew it), generally speaking, wanted nothing to do with politics.
They just wanted to live their lives like ordinary folk like you and me. The Russians didn’t care about that - they destroyed their city and lives in over six weeks.
Hadn't ever seen cat-walking until Severodonetsk in 2015. Was a man who walked his cat on a leash every morning along Druzhby, where I went running. We'd exchange nods "hello!" I wonder weather he was one of the 10,000+ the Ruschists killed. 8,000 left today, of 100,000 pre-war.
I liked this spot. I sometimes bought cat food in this shop. Every apartment building in Severo had families of cats living in their warm basements. Pensioners would leave porridge out for the cats in their neighbourhood.
Moved to Severodonetsk Jan 2015. No hommous, anywhere. Crystal (now destroyed) got it in Jan 2016 Silpo supermarket (now destroyed) month later. Avocados too arrived in 2015. Progress.
Fate of my gentle & kind neighbour in Severodonetsk:
"...house to our left was also hit & our neighbour was simply torn to pieces from a direct hit. He & 2 friends were putting out a fire in a garage. 1 of the 3 was hospitalized & died from his wounds, & the 3rd burned to death."
I LOVED living in Severodonetsk for three years. This is what the 🇷🇺 barbarians did to it yesterday. In July 2014 the 🇷🇺 who had occupied Severo retreated accross the Donets River. Retreat again, Barbarians. You're not wanted there.
This is the first time the Russians shelled Severo on 4th March 2022.
The lovely family I lived with in the city who occupied one of its most comfortable houses left for the EU after this shelling. They and others understood what was to come over the following few months.
Severo is a new city. Severo's oldest quarter was built after WWII by German POW. Severo was the USSR's top city for Ammonia production. Ruschists slowly destroying that plant.
Severo has many parks, stadia, Olympic sized swimming pools. In Soviet times, everything would've been immaculately maintained. Since USSR's collapse, Severo has had its best days after July 2014 (when the Ruschists retreated. Ruschia briefly held Severo then) and before they temporarily occupied the city since July 2022.
Dreamt of Mir Hotel in Severodonetsk last night. Lived in it for a year. Ruschists briefly occupied it yesterday. Before being killed by 🇺🇦 armed forces. Ruschists don't even know why they're there. Barbarism, haunting our dreams. As President Z says though: they're doomed.
Then in an amazing house with a lovely family, who're now refugees in the 🇪🇺. They left behind their underfloor heating, swimming pool, flower-rich garden. Afraid to ask if they brought their pets with them. Here's my 🐱 Henry in the kitchen there.
Gradually on my morning runs across the city I got to know Top Cat. He balanced on a bin. Thus his name. He seemed ill. Brought him to the vet. They tested him. Said: "He's dying." Top Cat spent his last week with me in comfort at the Mir Hotel in Severo. He's buried in the pet cemetery in the forest.
Tesla cars helped evacuate many people from Severodonetsk, when there was no fuel.
Perhaps now you can understand why Ukrainians feel so betrayed by Musk?!
I made this collage of photographs of Severo while the Ruschist shelling was destroying the city in May 2022. People remained because they had no where else to go. And others remained to feed those who couldn’t leave. Some stayed to feed others’ pets. I used to play football in a gym photographed here. After a series of battles and devastating losses for the Ruschists, Ruschists occupied the city in August 2022.
