Sanewashing Donald’s crimes. Germans. Bread and Circuses.

I was reminded of this lament as I parsed the milestones that brought us here.
Criminals should be imprisoned, not allowed to launder crimes with unlawful election.
All those who support non imprisonment of adjudicated rapist found guilty of 34 crimes are complicit.
Donald conviction by a jury is for campaign finance violations without which he would not have ‘won’ 2016 election.
No precedent in Anglo-Saxon legal jurisdictions for criminals fraudulently winning elections having their crimes forgiven.
When Donald was caught cheating campaign finance laws in the Stormy Daniel’s case Cyrus Vance jr as NY DA bottled the case - even though Michael Cohen served time for the same crime.
A justice department memo from the seventies, inexplicably, held a sitting president could not be held to account for crimes committed specifically in order to gain the ‘immunity’ that memo conveyed to a sitting president.
This appalling dereliction of duty that placed a president above all other citizens: In. A. Republic was glossed over by all those with power, even though it foreseeable led to the situation we’re now in. This was the root cause. The original sin.
MAGA Disinfolklore was allowed to project the impossibility of holding Donald to account for his crimes into the minds of those whose job it is to protect the Reoublic. This sane-washing, hand-ringing uselessness continues until today.
The constitution specifically forbids a US official who has engaged in insurrection against the United States from holding federal office. The Jan 6 committee and multiple grand juries in DC (the Federal Jan 6 case) and Georgia (the ongoing state case) indicted Donald for acts consistent with the insurrection we all witnessed on Jan 6.
A judge Donald appointed in Florida was able to delay, delay, delay the violation of official secrets legislation by Donald on my many counts. Instead, waiting for her honourably to recuse herself, those with power did nothing.
We were lulled with fairy tales that it is up to the people to decide if Donald deserves punishment. In. a. Republic. Now watch these liberal leftist judges and the like with their rabbit in the headlight looks as Donald plans to implement Prohect 2025 and end the Republic. Still they do nothing. They bang on about peaceful transfers of power, when Donald still doesn’t admit he lost the 2020 election.
Justice Merchan this week delayed sentencing of Donald in the Stormy Daniels 2016 campaign violations case. It remains to be seen if he will impose the custodial sentence Donald deserves for business records fraud that allowed him to win the 2016 election. We’re left depending on brave individuals like Jack Smith, Fani Willis, Justice Merchan, Stormy Daniels, the relevant Grand Juries, justice department and law enforcement officials who did their duty and a few others whom MAGA is already promising to lynch.
Those with power in the White House or Democratic Party or Democratic appointees who sat back hoping for a Hail Mary with the electorate rejecting Donald are today like rabbits in the headlights. No plan. No cojones. No willingness to put Donald behind bars where he belongs, according to law.
Meanwhile, those who had the power to prevent us getting to this point sit back and console themselves that at least they behaved ‘honourably’ in not acting to prevent a criminal who is an adjudicated rapist who stored nuclear secrets in a loo in his country club who cheated to win the 2016 election from taking office and destroying the Republic.
In four criminal indictments, Donald faces 91 counts each of which carries years in prison as a punishment.
Aside from these cases, Donald was found liable for ra*ing a woman and slandering her. Repeatedly. He may well face criminal charges in this case, in addition to the $83m fine levied on him.
Additionally, Donald and his children were fined over $500m in a case where they and their company has ALREADY been found liable in a civil case - again criminal charges are likely to follow - that fine was reduced to $300m by a New York Appeals court, even though, as I understand it, Donald didn’t actually appeal.
Don’t fall for Disinfolklore promoted by New Orc Times or those under Trump’s spell that he is anything other than a mob boss.
DC Appeals Court sits just under the US Supreme Court.
Here’s its judgment in the Federal Jan 6th case’s prosecution’s reference on the question of whether or not a former US President is immune from prosecution:
“Donald J. Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States on November 8, 2016.
He was sworn into office at noon on January 20, 2017, and served until his term expired at noon on January 20, 2021.
At that moment, President Trump became former President Trump and his successor, Joseph R. Biden, became President and began his own four-year term. U.S. CoNST. art. II, § 1.
Although this sequence is set by the Constitution, it did not proceed peacefully. Indeed, from election day 2020 forward, the government alleges that President Trump denied that he had lost his bid for a second term and challenged the election results through litigation, pressure on state and federal officers, the organization of an alternate slate of electors and other means.
His alleged interference in the constitutionally prescribed sequence culminated with a Washington, D.C., rally held on January 6, 2021, the day set by the Electoral Count Act, 3 U.S.C. § 15(a), for the Congress to meet in joint session to certify the election results.
The rally headlined by President Trump resulted in a march of thousands to the Capitol and the violent breach of the Capitol Building. The breach delayed the congressional proceedings for several hours and it was not until the early morning of January 7th that the 2020 presidential election results were certified, naming Joseph R. Biden as the soon-to-be 46th President.
Since then, hundreds of people who breached the Capitol on January 6, 2021, have been prosecuted and imprisoned.
And on August 1, 2023, in Washington, D.C., former President Trump was charged in a four-count Indictment as a result of his actions challenging the election results and interfering with the sequence set forth in the Constitution for the transfer of power from one President to the next.
Former President Trump moved to dismiss the Indictment and the district court denied his motion. Today we affirm the denial. For the purpose of the criminal case, President Trump has become citizen Trump with all of the defenses of any other criminal defendant.
But any executive immunity that may have protected him while he served as President no longer protects him against this prosecution.”
P.S. “Former President Trump does not challenge the district court's other holdings at this stage: (1) that "the First Amendment does not protect speech that is used as an instrument of a crime, and consequently the indictment - which charges [Donald] with, among other things, making statements in furtherance of a crime - does not violate [Donald]'s First Amendment rights.”

I think Donals is the beginning of the end of our material world, and, good riddance. It’s the end of thought, reason, structure, law, truth, authority, science and, more importantly, the end of the idea that we are only a bunch of hairless apes trying to get along. Unless we see our divine source, humans as species are doomed to extinction. Who knows, maybe that’s actually the plan :) Nobody gets out alive from this delusion of a segregated self in a material universe. We’re had all the enlightenments, reformations and evolutions that this materialistic model can bear. Our next thought has to be the one that destroys the physical universe. We can avoid the oblivion by realizing that it’s what we are :)
Not entirely on topic, but I still wanted to thank you for introducing me to expanded Pascal through the cryptic “Pensees 85” that I was wondering about for many months until I googled it 😂 Pascal is, indeed, absolutely correct that we are God-like, yet, living in the tragic belief that we are nothing but the beast. I had a cursory familiarity with Pascal through textbook math and physics and was joyous to see more of his wondrous mind revealed❤️Mana is nothing more than the invisible yet irrefutable presence of God on earth and the more we learn about it, the less of a chance we stand of wiping out our human hosts as a species.
