Pensées (90)
Russian opposition through the ages: Ukraine, Navalny, Kasparov, Lisa, and Dostoyevsky.
⚡️Ruschia eviscerated in Kursk.
Since this Pensée is mainly dedicated to Ruschia’s so-called ‘Opposition’ mainly funded by Ruschian oligarchs, it’s worth remembering that Ruschia’s main opposition is Ukraine.
Chatter from Information space commentators and politicians’ concern trolling about ‘peace’ on Ruschia’s terms misses a lot of things: Ukraine’s trajectory on the battlefield, Ruschia’s loss of 700,000 personnel to win a few vaporised villages, Ukrainian leadership gets that this is a once in a millennium opportunity to destroy Ruschia’s force power, President Zelenskyy is masterfully playing a tune Donald and his oil and gas industry funders want to hear:
Apart from that, those promoting the idea of a ‘peace’ which leads to Ukraine surrendering its people, land and sovereignty to Ruschism are not following Ruschia’s woes on the battlefield.
This week Ukraine shot down two Russian helicopters over the Black Sea using sea drones fitted with Manpads. This is the first time in history that sea drones fitted with missiles successfully shot down enemy aircraft.
As one pro-Russia commentator put it:
Outta 50,000 Ruschians sent to liberate Kursk, according to Ukraine’s supreme commander, 38,000 are dead or wounded.
Note how Moscow’s mayor recently admitted publicly Ruschia has suffered ‘600,000’ casualties during the three day special military operation - a number very close to Ukraine’s current estimate of:
While Surkov trolls about Donald and Xi following Ruschia’s Imperial example, Ruschia’s ‘imperial example’ screams: Don’t bother.
@ChuckPfarrer and Alan Brewer unpack Ruschia’s latest battlefield loss in Kursk:
Ruschia’s storied 810 Naval Infantry Brigade is now history:
Let’s suggest a hypothesis: if we can see through Russian Disinfolklore in real time, we’ll be ready to decode almost any trolls.
That said, this is not a recipe for complacency. We must be aware at how easily we can be mentally manipulated.
⚡️Russian ‘opposition’ attacks the same targets as Ruschist government Disinfolklorists.
Ruschia’s oligarch funded expatriate so-called ‘Opposition’ promotes a ‘hostages for sanctions relief’ deal:
Previously, they floated idea of a Marshall plan for Ruschia.
Ruschia got its Marshall Plan from 1991 and chose to invest it in genocide.
Ruschist "liberals" and Opposition forget Ruschist first sovereign default since 1917, $10b in stolen aircraft, stolen Renault factory, etc means, no-one'll ever loan Muscovy anything again.
Fridman an odious Ukraine-born oligarch who now identifies as Russian and who, reportedly, funds Russian oppositionists says publicly ‘sanctions have ruined my life.’
His voice is present whenever we hear Russian opposition moan about their fate.
A Russian oppositionist who does seem in good faith but is often misguided is Garry Kasparov.
He has convinced me he centres Ukraine and Ukrainians.
Yet, he does attack, in some cases unjustly in my opinion, the same democratically elected leaders as Russia’s oligarch-funded opposition like the Navalny crew (whose anti-corruption focus has the effect of making Russian arms manufacturing more efficient), and indeed Ruschia’s official government propaganda.
Coincidence?
I think not.
The price of admission to our mental category of Good Russian is two-fold:
1. Be exiled by Ruschist state (let’s face it Ruschist KGB state is so afraid of its shadow anyone can be exiled - doesn’t mean just cos they, say, hold up a blank sign in red square that they share our values) AND
2. They model our values by criticising our democracies and every now and again voicing support for Ukraine. Remember how we feted Ruschist imperialist Solzhenetsin?
It's very easy to become Russian 'opposition.' This does not mean those branded as Russian 'opposition' are not working for Russia's interests.
Russian opposition often targets the same Western democratic leaders and institutions under the guise of concern trolling.
We assume Russia's 'opposition' shares our European values necessarily.
Yet, 'coincidentally' they repay our hospitality by undermining our democracy from the inside.
Those of us who have fallen for the Good Russian / Russian Opposition troll, then, are compromised when every now and again the evidence shows that Good Russian is actually a Ruschist imperialist sympathiser in disguise.
We don’t want to believe our investment of hope in the Good Russian saviour has been wasted / fraudulently obtained. So we continue platforming them even though Central Europeans are telling us again and again: these ‘saviours’ are wolves in sheep’s clothing.
As @exileoftza shows us, Russian ‘opposition’ is one-hundred-year-old strategy designed to undernine our democracies, our values and our will to defeat Ruschism.
Ruschist KGB controlled ‘Opposition’ in the West is a one-trick pony.
Invest your ‘hopes’ and materiel in Ukraine’s defeat of Ruschism, not in KGB tricks.
⚡️’Tis almost exactly two years since I created the word Disinfolklore.
Today, the Washington Post unconsciously understands the need for a word that communicates the mean mana immanent in depressing news stories that have the effect of turning people off:
During the previous three years, I’d been researching my intuition that there was something folklore immanent in how Ruschia’s and Trump-Brexit trolling was working in our minds.
I had a folder with the 1000+ papers I had read entitled ‘Folklore.’
Then two years ago I was thinking ‘How can I summarise all this work in one word?’
I wrote out the word ‘Disinformation’ and before I’d even gotten to the second letter of ‘Fo-…’ it was so obvious I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it before.
Suddenly, three years of work resolved itself into one word with one meaning that encompassed everything I’d been mulling since first arriving inside Ruschia-occupied Ukraine in February 2015.
In a week when Trump used a folksy account of a conversation that never happened with a leader of a great European power to communicate that he wouldn’t defend NATO states unless they paid their ‘dues,’ the importance of communicating a Disinfolklore perspective has never been greater.
Especial thanks 🙏🏾🫡 to
and for immediately seeing, supporting, and helping promote the Disinfolklore perspective. Now, I have launched the Disinfolklore podcast:
⚡️Centre Lisa, not dead Russian ‘opposition’
American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages should be mourning Lisa, not Ruschists.
Centre Ukraine and Ukrainians afflicted by Ruschist cultures intrinsic genocidal fervour: Russian ‘Culture’ does not excuse Ruschia’s War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity, it stimulates, promotes, and reproduces them.
⚡️Russian "Culture" Doesn't Excuse War Crimes. It Motivates Them.
Russian culture IS Dostoyevsky being mock-executed in 1849 in front of the Czar & the art Dostoyevsky produced of that experience.
Russian Culture is oodles of mock-executions of Ukrainian civilians since 2014.
And Ruschist state-funded propagandists who regularly insight nuclear holocaust against all Europeans and Americans telling us to read Dostoyevsky to understand Russia.
Ruschist culture is banning Dostoyevsky for a century (find me even one village from the Don to the Pacific with a street named for Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Find me a town between the Derkul and Japan without streets named for Tolstoy, Hohol, and Pushkin).
Russian Culture is Dostoyevsky copy-and-pasting French writer Victor Hugo's investigator in Les Miserables into his Crime and Punishment.
Putin, a St Petersburg law student like Rashkalnikov, doesn't identify though with C&P's protagonist, who kills a female pawnbroker (who may or may not personify the Godess Europa) to see if he can get away with it.
Putin identifies with the dogged investigator copy-and-pasted from Hugo who punishes Raskhkolnikov not because he is a criminal, but because he can.
Russian culture is torturing Ukrainian medic and athlete Tariia in 2022, and encouraging her to commit suicide.
Dostoyevsky's Ivan Karamazov yearns to debauch his holy novice asthetic brother Alyosha.
So Ivan tells Alyosha of his dream in which the Grand Inquisitor (Pontius Pilot) explains to the Jesus figure that he must be crucified because otherwise the sheep would rebel against the freedom Jesus preaches. The State must oppress the holy. It's Russian culture's duty.
Russian propagandists today from Putin downwards want to teach Ukrainians and all of us that the law and morality don't matter.
All that matters is force, and Might is Reich.
Ivan here in a transcript published by @AP is a Ruschist soldier in Bucha in March 2022.
Ivan is using the phone of the Ukrainian civilian he has tortured and murdered, in accordance with his orders, to phone his girlfriend.
This pawnshop genocidor's Deep Words are straight from Dostoyevsky:
"He calls his girlfriend, Olya, and tells her he had a dream about her.
Ivan: “F—-, you know, it’s driving me crazy here. It’s just that ... You were just … I felt you, touched you with my hand. I don’t understand how it’s possible, why, where … But I really felt you. I don’t know, I felt something warm, something dear. It’s like something was on fire in my hands, so warm … And that’s it. I don’t know. I was sleeping and then I woke up with all these thoughts. War … You know, when you’re sleeping — and then you’re like … War … Where, where is it? It was just dark in the house, so dark. And I went outside, walked around the streets, and thought: damn, f—- it. And that’s it. I really want to come see you.”
Olya: “I am waiting for you.”"
Russian culture is Ukrainian writer Bulgakov's Master and the Margarita haunting Putin so much that journalists are banned from mentioning it.
Putin was reading M&M in Dresden while the Berlin Wall fell down.
Russian Culture is Putin trying to OutMagister the "Master" (Satan) in Bulgakov's home town of Bucha.
Russian Culture is the Ruschist ambassador in Vienna tweeting to Ruschist soldiers in Ukraine:
"Show no mercy to Ukrainian population," while promoting Tchaikovsky.
Russian culture is destroying Tchaikovsky's house in occupied Ukraine, while moaning about Russian culture being cancelled.
Russian Culture is, as Tetyana Ogarkova says, a State where
"crime without punishment, and punishment without crime" is mainstreamed.
Where as @yermolenko_v says Punishers are the Criminals (Stalin).
100,000s Ukrainians murdered by Russian Culture since Feb 24th 2022 and 14m Ukrainians persecuted from their homes.
Putin's lesson for us: the unpunished are the criminals who punish the innocent. Ruschism.
Finally, Russian Culture is perfectly present in the threads below:
