Why Ruschia and Anti-Wokism Must Be Defeated Together.
Ruschist Nazis are on a path to execute worse horrors than the German Nazis.
Here's why:
Today we have the 1949 Geneva Conventions.
We have the 1949 Genocide Convention.
We have the 1945 UN Charter.
We have the Refugee Convention.
Occupying Authorities are obliged by LAW to treat residents humanely.
To administer the laws of the territory occupied as they applied before the occupation.
Forced passportization is unlawful, as is forcible transfer of children and civilians from occupied territories by occupiers to another country.
Much of what the German Nazis did was NOT unlawful. Everything the Ruschist Nazis IS unlawful.
Now, what the Ruschists do IS immoral, dumb, and also unlawful.
Ruschia is on a path to gas chambers. How else can you interpret the deliberate destruction of a dam leading to millions of lives lost (animals, humans, fish, ecosystems, cultures,...)?!
President @ZelenskyyUa hexed Ruschia thus on 9th May 2022:
"The one who is repeating the horrific crimes of Hitler's regime today following Nazi philosophy, copying everything they did. He is doomed. Because he was cursed by millions of ancestors. when he began to imitate their killer. And therefore he will lose everything."
Ruschia, by hijacking the souls of the millions of Ukrainians the German Nazis murdered as a justification to imprison, forcibly transfer, kill, persecute, and scare millions of contemporary Ukrainians, is doomed.
Whoever today doubts what path the Ruschists travel upon look at how Ruschia turned a dam into a mass execution.
It's hard to fathom why people still promote Ruschism and genocide denial. Just look at the two threads I posted below in March and April 2022. It was clear even before Bucha what the Ruschists were doing.
The aforementioned legal instruments (and many more such as the European Convention on Human Rights) are a package of measures designed to ensure a standard against which Nazi-inspired policies like Ruschism can be established as unlawful.
There are many forces in our societies trying to unpick this package. In England an unelected government is trying to denounce the European Convention on Hunan Rights. It substantively denounced the Refugee Convention - hundreds of persecuted asylum seekers have died trying to cross the Channel.
In America and England anti-woke campaigns funded by oligarchs try to reverse gains in legally protecting equality of opportunity introduced after WWII.
Human Rights violations are ALWAYS the first indicators of a genocide and interstate war.
If we lose any part of this legal architecture, then we have no enforceable standard against which to measure our descent into barbarism.
These anti-woke campaigns aim at limited Othered groups like Women or Trans or Ukrainians or dehumanised "Small Boat People."
Thus, concealed, they chip away at elements in the legal life-boat that preserves our learnings from what led to WWII as LAW.
We must persuade these forces - some of which are Ukraine's greatest supporters today - of the inconsistency between their War on Ruschism and their War on Woke.
There is no "Cultural War" between us.
There are only those who seek to minimise the Mana and necessity of our Post-WWII legal architecture, by representing the values therein enshrined as law as merely "cultural."
Or those of us, like @ZelenskyyUa, who understand the War against Ruschism is the same war as that which we fight against EVERYONE who seeks to reverse our post-WWII legal architecture.
We can chose which of those two tribes to join: War on Woke or War on Ruschism.
We can't sit on two chairs at once.
